About
One mother. Two babies. One quiet ritual.
Behind Loula Studio
I'm a mother of two. After my second baby in 2024, I spent six months feeling like the body that built her was no longer mine — leaking when I sneezed, lower-back panic when I lifted my toddler, a softness in my middle that no doctor's "do Kegels" was helping.
I tried what I could afford. The pelvic floor PT was $200 a session, three weeks out. The gym felt all wrong. The crunches made it worse.
I was tired of being told to "bounce back" by an industry that had nothing for the months in between.
One night, I picked up a Pilates ring
I followed an Instagram physio's tutorial. Squeezed the ring between my knees. Breathed.
Something clicked. Not magic — but a feeling I hadn't had in months: my deep core, switching back on.
Four weeks of ten minutes a day, the leaks were gone. My belly was softer, but stronger. I felt like myself.
Why I made this
I started reading the research. RCTs from the World Physiotherapy Congress. A 2025 meta-analysis in the British Journal of Sports Medicine. The data was clear: Pilates-based pelvic floor work reduces incontinence, closes diastasis, rebuilds the deep core.
It wasn't a TikTok trend. It was clinical practice — just hidden from the women who needed it most.
So I made Loula Studio. One ring. Three guides written by hand. A 4-week protocol any mother can follow in the nap window. No gym, no $200 sessions, no shame.
